This summer I had an amazing harvest from my not-so-big-garden. The kids helped picking all the blackberries and then I had to figure out what to do with them. Part of it has now become jam, and here’s the simplest recipe:
1 kilo blackberries
750 grams sugar
Cook the blackberries, sugar and lemon juice. When the temperature has reached 105C transfer the jam into sterilized jars. (Cook the jars for about 5 min in a large pan). Fill the jars, but leave a bit of space. Close the jars and leave them upside down for 5 min. Turn them over and let them cool down.
